Wolves of Lebanon NGO – Organizational Structure
📋 Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the highest governing body of Wolves of Lebanon. It is responsible for setting the overall vision, maintaining oversight, and making strategic decisions that guide the organization’s growth and mission.

🏛️ Administrative Units
These units form the operational and academic backbone of the organization. They manage internal systems, develop curricula, coordinate fieldwork, and ensure Wolves of Lebanon operates with quality, consistency, and innovation.
🎓 Training & Education Committee (TEC)
The TEC is composed of coordinators, instructors and educators who carry out the programs created by the board. They deliver training, mentor students, and contribute to the ongoing development of course content and delivery methods.
🧭 C.O.R.E (Central Office of Relations and Execution)
C.O.R.E manages the internal execution of Wolves of Lebanon’s daily operations. It handles communications, logistics, reporting, and coordination between departments while supporting training events and community engagement.
🔬 Research & Development Committee
This committee focuses on continuous improvement and innovation. It explores scientific research, develops new training modules, supports conservation strategies, and strengthens Wolves of Lebanon’s future impact.
🏔️ Lebanon Wilderness Ranger Academy (LWRA)
The official academic division of Wolves of Lebanon. LWRA delivers structured programs in wilderness education, outdoor skills, and conservation, preparing individuals for ranger work and leadership in environmental fields.
🪵 Mountain Ranger Fundamentals (MRF) Program
The MRF program is the core course of the academy. It introduces participants to essential wilderness survival, safety, topography, biodiversity, and ethical outdoor practices. It is required for advancement into specialized ranger roles.
⛑️ Wilderness First Responder (WFR)
The WFR program equips participants with critical medical and emergency response skills tailored to remote and outdoor settings. It is highly recommended but no longer mandatory for joining the MRF program.
🧗 Mountain Ranger Advanced Training (MRAT)
MRAT is an advanced, field-based program focused on applied leadership, complex navigation, conservation operations, and team-based wilderness response. Entry is granted only to those who have completed both the MRF program and WFR with high scores above 80%.
💻 Wilderness Essentials (Online)
This online series provides the public with an accessible foundation in wilderness skills and values. It covers topics from safety and preparedness to flora and fauna, supporting broader awareness and community education.
🧒 Young Ranger Program (Upcoming 2026)
A preparatory initiative for youth aged 13–18, offering early exposure to outdoor ethics, navigation, and basic survival skills. It serves as a stepping stone for future enrollment in the MRF program.
🤝 Supporter Community
The Supporter Community is open to individuals who align with the values of Wolves of Lebanon and want to be involved in nature, conservation, and wilderness education. Members enjoy access to outdoor activities, educational workshops, gatherings, and priority registration in public events.
🐺 Ranger Corps
The Ranger Corps is composed of individuals who are progressing through or have completed the Mountain Ranger Fundamentals (MRF) program and earned their place as field-ready contributors. This structured group includes different levels of active rangers who support field operations, conservation efforts, and educational missions of the academy.

🌍 Partners & Collaborations
Wolves of Lebanon actively partners with both local and international organizations to extend its mission. Collaborators contribute to conservation, education, and fieldwork, strengthening our community’s reach and sustainability.
